Sepia Scene: The Werneth

A sepia view of the Werneth on the corner of Stockport Road and Treacle Brow.

For a coloured version see Geograph.

  1. I like it in sepia. The colors detract more than add. Now my eyes are more drawn to the detail in the stone and bricks.

  2. Except for the modern Opel, Ka and Transit, the sepia tones the modernity down somewhat. Minus the modernity, I feel that I am a century removed from when the building was built. Almost as if I am going back into time. Very nicely captured!
