ABC Wednesday: D is for Digging Deep

Workmen dug a deep trench in Clarendon Place a few weeks ago. I think they were replacing a gas main but I'm not sure. The roadworks were in place for just over a week.

You can see a wider view of the work on Hyde DP Xtra.

  2. Did they walk away for a week and leave everything exposed as they do here? I don't think I will see another possible gas pipe on abc this week

  3. I hope they finish soon and not hold the traffic up for too long. Interesting layers on the right.

  5. Whenever I pass a scene like this Gerald, the workmen are usually sitting having a cuppa tea, I know they do work hard, I just haven't actually SEEN them do it!!

  6. Without a barricade, an accident waiting to happen. Interesting, though.

  9. I hope they can finish all work without problems...like snow for instance! Here in Luxembourg is really cold and this morning we had snow again.
Snow is beautiful but after some days it can be really a problem!
