Blue Monday: Hyde Industrial Supplies

My contribution to Blue Monday this week features Hyde Industrial Supplies on Clark Way.

The old mill chimney in the background has survived as housing for mobile phone masts. I recently posted a view of it from the other side on Hyde DP Xtra

On the left is the "Pit Stop" mobile sandwich bar.

[edit] Jenny Roberts has kindly informed me that the chimney used to belong to Winterbotham's tripe dressing factory that formerly occupied this site.

  1. That eye-catching blue is sure blue-tiful!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Happy Blue Monday, Gerald.

  2. Beautiful capture.

I played too. Mine are here and here.

  4. The chimney seems to be in the grounds of the building which many years ago was Winterbottoms tripe factory.
Could the chimney be from the factory days?

    1. I'm sure you are right - if you can supply me with any information about it I'd really appreciate it - I was told it was Ashton's but always thought it seemed to be outside their boundary - I thought if I'd got it wrong someone would correct me in due course.

  5. The blue popped against the dull color of the ground.

    My BLUE
As always, your comment makes me giddy!
